In the early 1990's, during a time of growing popularity of metal roofing, a major roofing manufacturer purchased a flat seam metal roofing system for low slope roof applications. This company invested in the roofing system only after it had a 20 year track record for withstanding extreme weather conditions from the heat of the Arizona desert to the brutal winters of Idaho and Montana. GalvaFlex is a product that has evolved from this technology.
GalvaFlex uses the same metal panel design as the original system, but is heavier in gauge and re-engineered to withstand the forces of hurricane winds and extreme abuse that commercial/industrial roofs experience on a daily basis.
